KARACHI: The US Dollar (USD) continued to hold firm against the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) in the open market today. The greenback is being traded at Rs. 282.2 for buying and Rs. 283.0 for selling, according to updated rates.
The USD remains the most critical foreign currency for Pakistan due to its role in international trade, imports, and foreign debt repayments.
Small fluctuations in the dollar rate directly impact fuel prices, raw material imports, and inflation across the country.
