Karachi: The Saudi riyal is currently trading on a stable note in Pakistan’s open market, as demand from pilgrims and overseas workers is remaining strong. The riyal is being bought at Rs 74.90 and sold at Rs 75.55 today.
Thousands of Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia are continuing to send money back home, especially ahead of monthly household expenses. These remittances are playing an important role in supporting Pakistan’s economy and helping families cope with inflation.
The riyal’s steady movement is also being monitored by Umrah travelers and those planning religious visits in the coming weeks.
