Karachi: The Omani Riyal is remaining strong against the Pakistani Rupee on 17 April 2026, reflecting its high global value and steady demand in Pakistan’s exchange market.
In the open market, the Omani Riyal is being traded at Rs. 723.75 (buying) and Rs. 734.20 (selling).
The strength of the Omani Riyal is playing an important role in Pakistan’s economy, as remittances from overseas Pakistanis working in Oman are contributing to foreign exchange reserves.
A higher Riyal value is increasing the Rupee inflow for families receiving remittances, which is supporting household consumption and overall economic activity in the country.
