Karachi: The Omani riyal is continuing to trade strongly against the Pakistani rupee in the open market today. Currently, the Omani riyal is being bought at Rs. 728.60 and sold at Rs. 738.60, maintaining its position as one of the highest-valued foreign currencies in Pakistan.
Pakistani workers in Oman are playing an important role in supporting the local economy through remittances. Families back home are relying on these funds for healthcare, education, and business investments. The stable rate is helping them plan future expenses with more certainty.
Business circles are also watching the OMR rate because trade relations between Pakistan and Oman are gradually expanding. The strong value of the riyal is reflecting Oman’s economic stability.
Today’s open market shows: Buying: Rs. 728.60 | Selling: Rs. 738.60
