Karachi: The Omani riyal is continuing to trade at higher levels in Pakistan’s open market, highlighting its strong valuation.
Today, the Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 726.75 and sold at Rs 736.75.
Pakistani workers in Oman are continuing to contribute significantly through remittances, which are supporting household incomes and helping manage rising living costs back home. The riyal’s strength is making these remittances more valuable in local currency terms.
Economic observers are noting that steady demand for the Omani riyal is reflecting stable employment conditions for Pakistani expatriates in Oman.
