Karachi: The British pound is trading firmly against the Pakistani rupee in the open market today. The pound is being bought at Rs. 375.50 and sold at Rs. 379.00, keeping its strong position among major currencies.
Pakistani families receiving remittances from the UK are finding stability helpful for long-term planning. Many overseas Pakistanis in the UK are supporting property investments, education, and healthcare back home.
Students preparing for UK education are also closely observing the pound’s movement, as tuition and living costs depend heavily on exchange rates.
Today’s open market figures are: Buying: Rs. 375.50 | Selling: Rs. 379.00
