Karachi: The UK pound sterling is continuing to trade at higher levels in Pakistan’s open market, reflecting its strong global position. Today, the pound is being bought at Rs 376.75 and sold at Rs 380.55.

Pakistani workers and professionals residing in the United Kingdom are actively sending funds back to Pakistan, which is providing financial support to families amid rising living costs. The pound’s strength is making overseas earnings more valuable when converted into rupees.

The currency’s movement is also being followed by students and families dealing with education and visa-related expenses.
