Karachi – The Canadian Dollar (CAD) to Pakistani Rupee (PKR) is showing continuous activity. In the open market, the buying rate is Rs. 198.38 and selling rate is Rs. 204.15, while the interbank bank buying is Rs. 200.62 and selling at Rs. 200.98.
CAD fluctuations are affecting importers who deal in machinery, technology, and raw materials sourced from Canada. The stronger CAD is slightly increasing import costs, while exporters benefit when receiving payments in Canadian Dollars.
These movements are subtly influencing trade margins and cash flow planning for Pakistani businesses.
