The most recent changes in Pakistan’s open market forex rates show big changes in the major currencies as of January 9, 2025. The price to buy and sell a US dollar is PKR 278.75 and PKR 280.25, respectively. The price to buy and sell a UK Pound Sterling is PKR 348.50 and PKR 352.00. The Euro is also worth PKR 289.50 and PKR 292.25. For example, the Saudi Riyal is worth PKR 74.00 and PKR 74.55, and the UAE Dirham is worth PKR 75.65 and PKR 76.30.

The Canadian Dollar is worth PKR 195.10 when bought and PKR 197.50 when sold; the Australian Dollar is worth PKR 174.25 when bought and PKR 176.50 when sold; and the Chinese Yuan is worth PKR 37.97 and PKR 38.37. At PKR 1.77 buying and PKR 1.83 selling, the Japanese Yen is still not very strong. These rates are very important for companies, travellers, and buyers who are new to forex because they show how the market is changing all the time.
