ISLAMABAD: The latest interbank currency exchange rates in Pakistan indicate relative stability across major global currencies, reflecting balanced demand in the foreign exchange market.
According to updated financial data, the US Dollar (USD) is being traded at around Rs. 278.85 (buying) and Rs. 279.35 (selling) in the interbank market. The interbank rate remains a key benchmark for importers, exporters, and financial institutions across the country.
The British Pound (GBP) is recorded at Rs. 376.66 buying and Rs. 377.33 selling, while the Euro (EUR) stands at Rs. 327.99 buying and Rs. 328.58 selling, showing steady movement in major European currencies.
Among other global currencies, the Swiss Franc (CHF) is being exchanged at Rs. 356.51 buying and Rs. 357.15 selling, reflecting its continued strength in international markets.
The Swedish Krona (SEK) remains relatively stable at Rs. 30.41 buying and Rs. 30.47 selling, while the Singapore Dollar (SGD) is trading at Rs. 219.26 buying and Rs. 219.65 selling.
In the Middle Eastern currency segment, the Saudi Riyal (SAR) stands at Rs. 74.34 buying and Rs. 74.47 selling, maintaining consistency due to strong trade and pilgrimage-related demand. The UAE Dirham (AED) also remains stable in line with regional currency trends.
Asian currencies such as the Chinese Yuan (CNY) are recorded at Rs. 40.90 buying and Rs. 40.97 selling, while the Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) stands at Rs. 35.60 buying and Rs. 35.67 selling.
Other notable currencies include:
Danish Krone (DKK): Rs. 43.89 – 43.97
Canadian Dollar (CAD): Rs. 203.67 – 204.04
Australian Dollar (AUD): Rs. 199.51 – 199.87
Financial analysts note that interbank rates remain crucial for macroeconomic stability, as they directly influence trade pricing, remittances, and external financial flows.
