Speaking to the media outside the Mezar of Allama Iqbal, the governor emphasized that although the enemy may possess greater resources, it is the strength of faith that has led Pakistan to triumph.

This is a day of immense pride and gratitude. Our forces have made every Pakistani’s head rise high with honor, he said. “We are a peaceful nation and do not seek conflict, but we are fully capable of defending ourselves if challenged.”

Governor of the Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider noted that the current sense of national unity and the morale of the people are reflections of the professional excellence and sacrifice of the military. He said this victory is a moment to thank Allah and move forward with greater resolve in all fields.
