Islamabad: The prices of petrol and high-speed diesel have been increased once again, after which both the important petroleum products in the country have become more expensive. The new prices will be applicable from September 4.
According to a notification issued by OGRA, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 2.84 per litre. After this increase, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs 349 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been increased. According to the notification, diesel has become more expensive by Rs 2.28 per litre. The new price has been set at Rs 374.31 per litre.
The new prices will be applicable after 12 midnight. After this, the purchase and sale of petroleum products across the country will be carried out according to the newly fixed prices.
