Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) is witnessing a strong rally on the third day of the trading week, as a result of which investor confidence seems to be restored further.

The PSX-100 index recorded a significant increase of 1,875 points during trading, after which the index reached a level of 167,351 points. At one point during the day, the 100 index also touched a high of 167,561 points.

It should be noted that the 100 index closed at 165,476 points at the end of trading yesterday, which means that the market showed a remarkable recovery and strong rally in today’s session.

According to experts, the possible reasons for the ongoing rally in the stock market include investors’ expectations from the policies of the new fiscal year, improvement in economic indicators and investor-friendly measures at the government level.

Investment circles say that if the same momentum continues, the PSX-100 index could cross the psychological level of 170,000 points in the coming days.
