KARACHI – The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) recorded significant gains on the fifth day of the week, with the KSE-100 Index climbing 605 points to close at 166,889. The trading session saw fluctuations as the index oscillated between 166,847 and 167,923, reflecting a mix of cautious buying and profit-taking.

Market experts noted that renewed investor confidence, coupled with positive economic signals, contributed to the uptick. “The market is responding well to stability in key sectors and improving corporate results,” said a senior market analyst.

While the upward trend is encouraging, analysts advise monitoring market indicators closely as volatility remains likely in the short term.
