Karachi: Despite the uncertainty in the Pakistan Stock Market at the beginning of the business week, investors showed great interest, as a result of which the 100 index recorded a significant increase of 543 points.
The initial session was mixed, but the market soon gained momentum and reached 146,190 points. The index touched a high of 146,451 points during the day.
According to experts, the market rally has come on the back of expectations of government economic policies and improvement in external payments. Investors are now considering long-term investments along with short-term gains.
