LAHORE: The federal government has reduced the prices of petroleum products for September 29. According to the notification issued, petrol has been reduced by Rs 2.27 and diesel by Rs 3.56 per litre.
After the reduction, the price of petrol has become Rs 389.30 per litre, while diesel is available for Rs 404.97 per litre.
This change in prices has been implemented only for September 29. After that, a new decision will be taken regarding fuel prices.
Petrol and diesel prices affect the cost of transport, freight and everyday goods. Therefore, a reduction in rates may provide some relief to consumers and the business sector for a limited period.
