According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs5,900, while 10 grams of gold became more expensive by Rs5,058 to Rs378,031.
On the other hand, the price of gold also increased in the global market. Gold rose by $59 per ounce to $4,184 in the global market.
A day earlier, the price of gold in Pakistan had increased by Rs600 per tola.
The price increase for the second consecutive day has further increased the value of gold in the local bullion market. Changes in prices in the global market and fluctuations in gold rates at the domestic level are important for buyers and the jewelry industry.
