Lahore: The price of gold in Pakistan continues to fluctuate. After a one-day increase, the price of the precious metal in the local market has decreased again, bringing the price of gold per tola to Rs 438,636.
According to the data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 3,000. This reversed some of the increase that occurred the previous day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased. Its price fell by Rs 2,572 to Rs 376,059.
The prices of the local Sarafa market are also affected by the prices of gold in the global market. The price of the precious metal also saw a decrease in the international market. The global price of gold decreased by $30 to $4,161 per ounce.
The recent change in the price of gold has come at a time when investors in the global market are also closely watching economic data, interest rates and the geopolitical situation. Changes in global rates also have an impact on the local price of gold in Pakistan.
This fluctuation in prices is of particular importance for local buyers. Apart from buying jewellery, many people also see gold as a means of saving and investment. Therefore, even a minor change in the daily price can affect market decisions.
It should be noted that a day earlier, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan had increased significantly by Rs 4,300. After the latest decline, gold prices in the market have once again fallen.
The global price of gold and domestic market factors will remain important for local prices in the coming days. That is why it is important for consumers and investors to keep an eye on the changes in daily prices.
