Lahore: According to the details, Honda has introduced its first fixed battery electric motorcycle WN7, which is the production version of the “EV Fun Concept” presented at the 2024 EICMA show in Milan, Italy.
Honda said that the “W” in the name stands for Be the Wind, “N” stands for Naked and “7” indicates its output class. The company has priced the bike at 12,999 pounds, which is around 4.9 million Pakistani rupees.
Key features include a range of over 130 km per charge, a fixed lithium-ion battery, and CCS2 fast charging that charges the battery from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. A full charge on home charging takes around 3 hours.
In terms of performance, this bike has the power equivalent to a 600cc engine while the torque is close to a 1000cc model. The design features a slim and modern EV styling with a 5-inch TFT screen and Honda Road Sync smartphone connectivity.
According to experts, the launch of the WN7 is a big step for Honda in the global electric motorcycle market. The company has announced that it is committed to making all its motorcycles carbon neutral by 2040.
