KARACHI: The daily price update shows gold prices in Pakistan have risen by Rs. 300 per tola. Today’s gold markets have pushed prices up to reach Rs. 283,200 per tola.
The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association reports that 10 grams of gold now costs Rs. 242,798 after increasing by Rs. 257.
Today’s global gold prices reached $2,711 per ounce with a three-dollar rise from yesterday. Gold prices rose by Rs. 500 per tola in domestic markets yesterday as the value keeps pushing higher.
Experts point to both Pakistan’s decreasing currency value next to US Dollar plus worldwide economic worries that motivate investors toward gold as a secure financial option.
