In Pakistan, gold prices kept going up for the fifth day in a row, which was a big jump on the last day of the week. With a new high of Rs. 280,800 per tola, the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association says the price of gold went up by Rs. 1,400 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also went up by Rs. 1,201 and is now Rs. 240,741.
Gold prices also went up on the world market, going up by $14 to $2,690 an ounce. This steady rise in gold prices is caused by both global market trends and local economic factors, which has an even bigger effect on buyers and customers in the United States.
