Daily Hadees
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذْ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ لِمَ تَحْتَبِسُونَ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ مَا هُوَ إِلاَّ سَمِعْتُ النِّدَاءَ تَوَضَّأْتُ. فَقَالَ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ إِذَا رَاحَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ ”.
ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا ، کہا کہ ہم سے شیبان بن عبدالرحمٰن نے یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر سے بیان کیا ، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ جمعہ کے دن خطبہ دے رہے تھے کہ ایک بزرگ ( حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ ) داخل ہوئے ۔ عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ آپ لوگ نماز کے لیے آنے میں کیوں دیر کرتے ہیں ۔ ( اول وقت کیوں نہیں آتے ) آنے والے بزرگ نے فرمایا کہ دیر صرف اتنی ہوئی کہ اذان سنتے ہی میں نے وضو کیا ( اور پھر حاضر ہوا ) آپ نے فرمایا کہ کیا آپ لوگوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہ حدیث نہیں سنی ہے کہ جب کوئی جمعہ کے لیے جائے تو غسل کر لینا چاہیے ۔
Abu Nu’aym narrated to us, he said that Shayban bin Abdur Rahman narrated to us from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) was delivering the sermon on Friday when a man (Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) entered. Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Why do you delay coming to prayer? (Why don’t you come at the first time?) The man who came said: I only delayed until I heard the call to prayer and performed ablution (and then came). He said: Have you not heard this hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that when someone goes to pray for Friday, he should take a bath.
