Lahore: While speaking to journalists in Lahore, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman gave a strong reaction to the current political and judicial situation. He said that if there is a law against the principles of the Quran and Sunnah, it cannot be recognized, but it is necessary to have independent and fair courts to challenge such laws, which are not visible at the moment.

He said that when governments are formed on the basis of Form 47, the spirit of democracy is affected and the trust of the people is shaken.

In his speech, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the result of imposing restrictions on the courts is that people try to establish courts of their own choice, which creates more problems for the judicial system.

He said that when the doors of justice are closed and the voice of the people is blocked, people become distrustful. He said that true democracy in a country can be strong only when the voice of every citizen is heard without hindrance.
