Educational activities resume in Lahore From 1st September, schools to remain closed in flood affected areas

Lahore: The district administration has issued a notification and announced that all schools in Lahore will reopen after the summer vacations from September 1.

However, educational activities in the flood-affected areas will remain suspended for the time being and restoration will be possible only when the situation improves. The district administration has made it clear that all educational institutions must strictly follow the instructions issued by the School Education Department.

According to education experts, while recent decisions are a good start to addressing the educational setbacks students have faced, keeping education consistent for children in flood-affected areas will be a major challenge. Online classes and temporary learning centers could help bridge this gap.
