Lahore: The price of wheat in the country has been increased by Rs 300 per maund, after which the price has increased from Rs 2,800 to Rs 3,100 per maund.
According to market sources, this sudden increase in prices has raised concerns about an increase in flour prices.
Chairman Pakistan Flour Mills Association Asim Raza has said in his statement that the government has failed to control the price of wheat, while the Punjab government has completely deregulated wheat.
He warned that the price of flour may also increase in the next few days, however, the association is carefully reviewing the situation.
