1640 seats left in government Hajj scheme, receipt of applications continues till August 22

Islamabad: According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, only 1640 seats are left in the government Hajj scheme and it has been decided to continue the receipt of applications for these vacant seats till August 22.

The spokesperson said that due to rains and emergency situation, many applicants are facing difficulties, hence the additional time has been given. However, as soon as all the seats are filled, the receipt of Hajj applications in the designated banks will be stopped immediately.

It may be recalled that two days ago, the Ministry of Religious Affairs had announced that 3500 seats are vacant and the receipt of applications will continue until they are filled. Now the number of seats has been reduced to 1640.

The spokesperson said that the receipt of Hajj applications is being done on a first-come, first-served basis so that those who could not submit their applications within the stipulated period for some reason can take advantage of this opportunity.

Hajj pilgrims have also been instructed to keep all required documents and fees with them while submitting the application so that there is no problem.
