Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant rise on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, with 24K gold reaching Rs. 286,300 per tola and Rs. 245,500 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, 22K gold was priced at Rs. 262,440 per tola and Rs. 225,040 per 10 grams. For 21K gold, rates stood at Rs. 250,513 per tola and Rs. 214,813 per 10 grams, while 18K gold was valued at Rs. 214,725 per tola and Rs. 184,125 per 10 grams.
The international benchmark per ounce prices showed similar trends, with 24K gold trading at Rs. 696,000. The surge in prices comes amid global market volatility, prompting investors to turn to gold as a safe-haven asset.
