Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange saw a second day of falling prices in a row today, as the KSE-100 Index lost 1,598 points. The stock market bottomed out at 113,443 points, retracing valuable ground compared to its earlier positions.
In trading hours, the index moved between 113,359 and 113,559 points. 743.6 million shares got traded during the day, with investors exchanging Rs. 35.24 billion in total.
The market value of all companies dropped by Rs 213 billion, and ended the day at Rs 14,002 billion.
Market analysts say fear over ongoing economic and global market events caused investors to be more careful before making trades.
