Maulana Fazlur Rehman Advocates for Dialogue and Prioritizes National Security Over Foreign Influence

LahoreJamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman conveyed his belief that the American people have the right to elect their own president and that there is no need to accord undue significance to former US President Donald Trump. During a press conference in Lahore, he stated, “Our foremost concern is the security of our own country.”

He also emphasized that the JUI-F has consistently negotiated with principles in mind, and these efforts have been successful. “I aspire to resolve matters through dialogue.” Maulana Fazl stated, “The initial objective is to regain the confidence of the populace.”
