Solidarity with Pakistani forces, homage to martyrs: unanimous resolution passed in the National Assembly


ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution expressing full solidarity with the Pakistan Army and paying homage to the martyrs. The resolution was presented by Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar, which was unanimously supported by all political parties, describing it as a symbol of national unity.

In the resolution, the House saluted the martyrs who laid down their lives for the protection of the motherland and described their sacrifices as a symbol of national pride, unity, and perseverance. Appreciating the professionalism, courage, and responsible attitude of the Pakistan Armed Forces, the House said that the timely and appropriate response to the Indian aggression fully protected the national dignity.

The House thanked the friendly countries that supported Pakistan in difficult times and showed solidarity at the international level. At the same time, the House reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to regional and global peace.

The resolution stressed that a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue was indispensable and the government should further mobilize the international community in this regard. The House made it clear that lasting peace in the region is possible only through serious and structured dialogue.

According to the resolution, full implementation of the Indus Waters Treaty is necessary, and the protection of Pakistan’s water rights is the most important component of national security, from which no compromise is possible.

The House took the opportunity to assure the entire nation that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with the forces for the defense, sovereignty, and security of the country, and every challenge will be met together.
