Karachi: According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold in Pakistan saw a precipitous drop today, with one tola of gold being 600 rupees less expensive than it was yesterday. As a result of this decrease, the price of gold per tola is now at Rs 272,600.
Similar to the last, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by 514 rupees, bringing it down to 233,711 rupees.
Gold prices fell in the international market as well, with a decrease of $6 per ounce, bringing the world rate to $2,614 per ounce. International gold prices also fell.
The current downward trend in gold prices is a reflection of oscillations in the dynamics of the global market. This tendency offers some respite to local customers who are experiencing high costs.
