Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari gave a forceful message on Women’s Day to declare that Pakistan’s progress required supporting women in educational advancement and economic growth and leadership positions because these measures serve the nation well. The president declared that Pakistan would maintain its dedication to women’s rights and equal opportunities together with an inclusive environment for women success.

The president declared that nations which treat women equally become both economically successful and maintain peace within their borders. President Zardari recognized the strength and meaningful achievements of women before demanding each woman should gain access to equal fundamental rights and opportunities in society. Despite these efforts he emphasized that women continue to encounter ongoing barriers including physical threats and bias thus driving the necessity for extra security measures which protect their rights and economic self-sufficiency.
