Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) sustained its streak of growth during three consecutive business days resulting in market capitalization reaching Rs. 14 trillion for the first time since January 31. During trading hours the benchmark PSX-100 Index finished at 113,739 points after rising by 396 points.
During trading hours the PSX-100 Index moved between 114,202 points as its peak and 676 points as its lowest point. Market activity persisted strongly as traders conducted 78.74 million share transactions worth Rs. 33 billion. Market capitalization achieved substantial expansion as it grew Rs. 47 billion to reach Rs. 14.028 trillion.
Rising investor confidence alongside improving economic sentiments has maintained this positive trend. Market analysts predict further stabilization alongside market expansion when current positive trends persist.
