Lahore: A drop in gold prices has been recorded in Pakistan, which made gold cheaper by Rs 3,000 per tola in the local bullion market. According to the new prices, buyers will be able to buy gold at a lower price than the previous rates; however, other costs are also included in the final price of jewellery.
According to the All Pakistan Bullion Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 3,000 to Rs 437,836. Similarly, 10 grams of gold became cheaper, from Rs 2,572 to Rs 375,373.
The price of gold also fell in the global market. The international market rate fell by $30 to $4,153 per ounce, which also affected the prices in the local bullion market.
Gold prices are affected by the global market trend, the value of the dollar and local market conditions. Therefore, it is important for buyers and investors to confirm the latest rates before purchasing.
