Islamabad: The second installment submission phase for pilgrims preparing for the upcoming Hajj under the Government Hajj Scheme is starting from October 5. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued important instructions regarding payment, medical documents, and changes in the Hajj package.
According to the ministry, pilgrims will be able to submit the second installment of Hajj from October 5 to 20. For this purpose, the facility of the Pak Hajj app and the Digital Hajj portal has been provided. Pilgrims have been instructed to complete their payment within the stipulated period to avoid cancellation of the application.
Time has also become important for those wishing to change the Hajj package. The ministry has clarified that the facility of modification in the package will be closed at 12 am on October 4. Therefore, pilgrims have been advised to complete the necessary action before the stipulated time for any change.
A medical fitness certificate has also been made mandatory in the process of submitting the second installment. Pilgrims will have to upload their medical fitness certificate on the Pak Hajj app or digital Hajj portal before making the payment. This condition is aimed at fulfilling the necessary medical requirements before leaving for Hajj.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has warned that the Hajj applications of pilgrims who do not submit the second installment by October 20 will be cancelled. However, in such a case, the amount already deposited will be returned to the accounts of the concerned pilgrims.
Timely payment and completion of documents are important steps in Hajj arrangements. According to the ministry’s instructions, pilgrims should complete their payment and medical documentation process in advance instead of waiting for the last date to avoid any technical or administrative hurdles.
