Nawaz Sharif Stresses Peaceful Resolution and Constitutional Approach in Azad Kashmir

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Nawaz Sharif has expressed concern over the political situation in Azad Kashmir and said that all issues should be resolved through constitutional and democratic means.

The meeting took a detailed review of the current political and administrative situation in Azad Kashmir, which was also attended by the party’s senior leadership. On this occasion, grief was expressed over the loss of lives during the recent incidents in the region.

Nawaz Sharif said that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) has a clear stance on the Kashmir issue and supports the right of self-determination of the people of occupied Kashmir, which should be in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations.

He said that Pakistan’s relationship with the people of Azad Kashmir is historical, ideological and emotional in nature, and their rights and development have always been given priority.
