In the context of increasing tension in the Middle East, reports of alleged missile attacks by Iran on the United Arab Emirates have emerged; however, these claims could not be fully independently verified.

According to the Emirati Ministry of Defence, four missiles were fired, three of which were disabled by the air defence system while one missile fell into the sea. The statement said that in view of the situation, the defence system has been alerted.

According to Arab media, flights at Dubai and Sharjah airports were temporarily suspended after these incidents, but the authorities did not issue a detailed explanation in this regard.

Meanwhile, a fire has been reported in the Fujairah Petroleum Zone, which is being linked to the alleged drone attack in some reports. According to civil defence officials, efforts are underway to control the fire and bring the situation under control.

Officials say there was no immediate confirmation of any major damage, and information is being gathered. Some media reports have mentioned injuries, but this could not be officially confirmed.

Experts say such incidents could increase uncertainty in the region, especially at a time when regional conflicts are already escalating.
