Lahore- A major change is taking place on the horizon of global diplomacy, where according to the American magazine ‘Axios’, Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt have paved the way for indirect talks between the US and Iran.
These three countries have exchanged messages, acting as a bridge between US Representative Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, so that a permanent solution to the ongoing tension in the region can be found.
Sources claim that the main agenda of these talks is to end the war in the Middle East and resolve all outstanding issues on the table, due to which some big news is expected soon.
In this context, US President Donald Trump has made an important announcement through his message on ‘Truth Social’, according to which he has ordered a five-day halt to attacks on Iranian power plants and energy facilities.
President Trump says that the aim of this measure is to give a chance to the negotiation process and if the talks continue to move in a positive direction, there is a possibility of further disruption and progress in the attacks.
These joint efforts of Pakistan, Egypt and Turkey have come at a time when the world was facing the threat of a major conflict in the Middle East, however, now these negotiations have given hope for lasting peace in the region.
