Karachi: The Omani Riyal is continuing to trade at a strong level against the Pakistani rupee in today’s open market, reflecting the currency’s high value and steady demand.
The Riyal is being bought at Rs. 728.60 and sold at Rs. 738.59.
Thousands of Pakistani professionals and skilled workers in Muscat and other cities are actively sending money home, and these remittances are playing an important role in strengthening family incomes.
Because of its higher exchange rate, even small transfers in Riyals are providing significant support to households in Pakistan.
The currency is maintaining its firm position, and families receiving funds are benefiting from the stronger conversion rate.
