Haripur: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that when the nation is united, no power in the world can defeat it. Addressing the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme ceremony in Haripur, he said that Pakistan’s victory in the battle of truth was achieved due to the help of Allah Almighty and the prayers of the nation, which the enemy will never forget.
The Prime Minister said that India has clearly received the message that Pakistan certainly wants peace, but does not compromise on its security and dignity. He said that this success is a manifestation of Pakistan’s defense resolve and national unity.
Speaking to the youth at the event, the Prime Minister said that development is not possible without education. He said that so far 600,000 laptops have been distributed on full merit so that capable and hardworking students can get opportunities to move forward.
The Prime Minister, describing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a symbol of bravery and perseverance, said that this province has made the most sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He said that the people of this province, police and security forces have made Pakistan safe by sacrificing their lives.
He added that the atmosphere of peace that we are seeing today is the result of these sacrifices. The Prime Minister said that the nation will always be indebted to these martyrs and ghazis.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the development of Pakistan should not be limited to any one province or region. According to him, the country cannot move forward unless all four provinces develop equally.
He termed the education of children and youth as the top priority of the state and said that the government is taking major steps in the field of modern education, especially artificial intelligence and technology. According to the Prime Minister, talented students will also be sent abroad for higher education so that they can acquire modern skills.
Talking about the country’s economy, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan has overcome difficult times and is now moving towards development. He clarified that economic improvement is not the result of any magic but the fruit of tough decisions and national unity.
During his address, the Prime Minister also announced the establishment of Danish School in Haripur and said that this project will prove to be a new ray of hope for the poor and capable children of the area.
