President Erdogan won the hearts of the Pakistani nation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has won the hearts of the Pakistani nation by expressing full solidarity with Pakistan in difficult times.

He made the remarks during a meeting with Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Irfan Nazir Oglu in Islamabad. Bilateral relations, the recent regional situation, and defense cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

The prime minister thanked President Erdogan and the Turkish people for Turkey’s unwavering support during the recent tensions with India, noting that Turkey’s fraternal relations with Pakistan have grown stronger with every trial. He said the relationship between the two countries is a shining example, and Turkey’s support in the recent crisis is proof of this friendship.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan’s armed forces responded effectively and timely to the enemy under “Operation Baniyan Mursos,” sending a message to the world that Pakistan will not compromise on its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Turkish Ambassador Irfan Naziroglu congratulated the Prime Minister on Pakistan’s defense and diplomatic achievements on the occasion and said that the people of Turkey value Pakistan’s perseverance, sacrifices, and efforts for peace. He assured that Turkey would continue to cooperate with Pakistan at all levels.
