ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said that international agencies and analysts are describing Pakistan’s economic recovery as “extraordinary, and the leading global organization Barron’s has called it a mini miracle. Talking to reporters in Islamabad, he said that the economic goals that Pakistan has achieved in a short period of time. They are surprised, and that is why Pakistan’s success is being appreciated on the world stage.

Ahsan Iqbal said that the economic program ‘Udaan Pakistan’ introduced by the government is being implemented continuously, which is showing positive results. He said remittances are witnessing a historic surge and will reach $38 billion by the end of the year. He said the inflation rate has come down significantly in the last few months, from 40% to just 2%, while the SBP’s policy rate has also come down from 23% to 11%. The federal minister said that new measures will be introduced in the upcoming budget to increase exports by using modern technology. Pakistan’s economy is once again on the upswing.
