Pakistan shot down six Indian aircraft: Ishaq Dar

Islamabad: Speaking in the Senate, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that every accusation made by India against Pakistan is an old tradition. He said that immediately after the Pahalgam incident, India made irresponsible allegations against Pakistan, but Pakistan immediately made it clear that it was ready to respond.

The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan shot down six Indian aircraft while none of the Pakistani aircraft were safe from damage. He said the National Security Committee took quick and effective decisions against India’s unilateral actions.

Ishaq Dar further said that both Pakistan and India were in touch with the international community and talks were held at the diplomatic level with all countries. He said that the foreign ministers and prime ministers of many major powers of the world contacted him directly, and efforts were made to keep the situation under control, keeping in mind Pakistan’s nuclear capability.
