Abbas Araghchi, while making an important statement on the recent tense situation in the Strait of Hormuz, said that “there is no military solution to the political crisis.” He said that the growing tension in the region is making it clear that the use of force can further complicate the problems.


The Iranian Foreign Minister said that the recent events in the Strait of Hormuz are proof that conflicts need to be resolved diplomatically. He stressed that any kind of military intervention can lead the region to further instability.


Praising Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, Abbas Araghchi said that progress is being made in the negotiations, which is a positive sign. According to him, Pakistan’s role in this matter has become important and these efforts for peace in the region are commendable.


He also warned the US and the UAE that they should be wary of such elements that They want to push them into a new conflict. He said that some forces in the region are trying to worsen the situation.


The Iranian Foreign Minister criticized the US operation “Project Freedom”, calling it “Project Deadlock”. According to him, such measures create a deadlock instead of solving problems.
