Relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh will further strengthen: Maulana Fazlur Rehman

Dhaka: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that he has reached Bangladesh with a message of goodwill and love from Pakistan and will return with the same spirit. He was addressing the World Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Conference held in Dhaka.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said in his speech that Pakistan and Bangladesh are two brotherly Islamic countries which are keen to improve relations in various fields. He said that increasing mutual trust and contacts between the two countries can strengthen the atmosphere of peace and brotherhood in the region.

He said that “if the people of Bangladesh walk towards us, the people of Pakistan will run and welcome them,” which shows the emotional and historical connection between the two countries. He also expressed his determination that this bond of love and goodwill will be further strengthened.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that this large gathering shows that the people are eager to come closer to each other and see the beginning of a new era of relations. According to him, today’s gathering will prove to be a new milestone in better and lasting diplomatic and religious relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
