Islamabad: PTI leader Shibli Faraz strongly criticized former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Asif Zardari for causing Pakistan’s economic disaster in his latest press conference. During the Islamabad press conference Faraz highlighted that Pakistani society lacks rule of law which operates as an obstacle against investment and steady economic development.

The absence of law-establishing power with peace makes it impossible for investors to set up business in Pakistan. The nation’s present circumstances emerged from improper management and corrupt activities of those who were forced upon Pakistan,” Faraz declared. Through his statements he charged Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari with responsibility for Pakistan’s economic collapse since their policies produced Pakistan’s current state of national distress.

During his meida interaction Faraz condemned the political nature of PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s imprisonment. According to him “The country follows an unpopular leader who founded PTI but now remains in prison while incompetent leaders with no qualifications have received various national positions.”

According to the PTI leader Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) alongside Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) sold away the national economy through their actions. He argues that the current government sells profitable government organizations to eliminate financial losses from retained unprofitable entities. The government is pursuing the sale of profit-making institutions yet it upholds entities that run at a loss. Faraz declared that such behavior goes beyond governance because it constitutes exploitation.

During the press conference Faraz pointed to the existing power crisis by holding the government responsible for its current failing condition. They create new laws when their personal interests face danger to establish personal protection. He criticized their approach to the power sector by stating they have driven it to the edge of bankruptcy.
