Islamabad: A notification has been issued by the Ministry of Finance in Islamabad to revise the prices of petroleum products, according to which the price of petrol per liter has been slightly reduced, while the price of high-speed diesel has not been changed.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 1 per liter, after which its new price has become Rs 254.63 per liter. On the other hand, the price of diesel has been kept unchanged at Rs 258.64 per liter.
According to the Ministry of Finance, this slight reduction in prices will come into effect from 12 o’clock tonight. The changes in the prices of petroleum products are made keeping in view the volatility of crude oil prices in the global market and local economic conditions.
