Islamabad: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that Islamabad Police has proven itself to be the number one force of the country with its excellent performance and courage.
Addressing the ceremony, he said that the role of the police in the war against terrorism is undeniable, and their sacrifices are the guarantee of peace and stability in Pakistan. “We have brought significant improvements in the salaries, facilities and package for the martyrs of the police.”
He said that the relief package announced by the Prime Minister for the martyrs of the Islamabad Police will be implemented soon. Talal Chaudhry stressed that “our police do not see day or night, they are always active to serve the people.”
According to the Minister of State, in the ongoing campaign against crime, Islamabad Police has arrested the accused in more than 90 percent of the serious cases. “Whether it is the case of Sana Yousaf or others, the police arrested the criminals in record time.”
Talal Chaudhry appealed to the citizens to remember their unparalleled services and sacrifices before criticizing the police. He said that the police of the federal capital is at the top of the police forces of the entire Pakistan.
