Sardar Asadi made it clear that Iran will not show weakness in the face of any aggression or pressure. According to him:

  • Tehran does not want war but is ready to deal with any potential threat.

On the other hand, according to a foreign news agency, US President Donald Trump has made a surprising statement regarding the ongoing operations against Iran. He admitted that the US Navy is playing a pirate-like role in blocking Iranian ports.

Trump further said:

“We are seizing Iranian ships, cargo and oil; this is a very profitable business. We are like pirates, but we are not playing any games.”

Iranian officials say that despite Washington’s hostile attitude, Tehran will not back down from its defensive stance. According to Maherin, President Trump’s statement has sparked a new debate on US policies at the international level.
