Lahore: The recent week has proven to be extremely heavy for passengers traveling by air from Pakistan to the Middle East. Due to regional tensions, flights to Gulf countries from various cities of Pakistan have been canceled on a large scale.

Airport situation and affected cities

According to aviation sources, flight operations have been severely affected at all international airports across the country, including Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The worst affected has been Karachi airport, from where 26 flights to Gulf countries could not be operated. A large number of passengers are forced to stay at airports, where anxiety is growing due to the lack of a clear response from airlines.
